| After its association
in Europe with many Contemporary Art Institutions,
it was only logical that Champagne Nicolas
Feuillatte sought to develop a relationship
with MoMA in New York. It started in 2001
on a fairly intimate scale. In 2003, a
real partnership was in the making, while
MoMA was being renovated in Manhattan.
Since 2003, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte
serves to hundreds of Members, Corporate
Members and Associates of the Museum at
the prestigious “Party in the Garden.” In
2005, The Party was back in MoMA’s
garden in New York City. That year, MoMA’s
most important annual fundraising gala
chose to honor David Rockefeller as he
turned 90. The long time chairman of the
board of trustees of the museum recently
donated $100 million to the MoMA, the single
largest endowment the museum ever received.
Nicolas Feuillatte’s Rosé was served at the cocktail reception to
the 900 VIP guests who were invited to honor the great man, and at dinner, everybody
raised their glasses of Blancs de Blanc for the birthday toast. The after party
began at 9 pm when 2000 privileged guests started pouring into the garden that
had been decorated for the occasion with white tents and beautiful lights, their
Feuillatte minis in hand.
On June 6 2006, MoMA plans to honor Joan Tisch and Sarah Jessica Parker, two
great New York women. Joan and her family are longstanding patrons of the arts
and generously support civic and educational causes throughout New York City.
Joan has also served as a Life Member of MoMA’s Board of Trustees since
1999. Award-winning actress Sarah Jessica Parker is active in aiding charitable
and political causes and has worked to raise money for UNICEF, AIDS research,
and school music programs. We hope that you will join us for this very special
evening. As usual, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte will be there to help the celebration
with its festive bubbles.
